Complimentary Life Insurance
Here's one more reason to save at Wyrope F.C.U. Everyone knows you get favorable interest rates and personal member service when you save at Wyrope. But did you know you also receive a special type of term life insurance at no extra charge? It's called Life Savings Insurance and it's an added benefit that comes with your membership here. Life Savings Insurance is tied to the balance in your share (savings) account - it's one more way we encourage you to save. Here's how it works: Up to $2,000 of your savings is matched with an equal amount of group term life insurance. For example, say you have $2,000 in your share account. In the event of your death, subject to the age terms in your certificate of insurance, your beneficiary will not only receive the current savings balance, but also up to $2,000 of life insurance coverage. If you should die accidentally those benefits are doubled. This benefit is available for members who make deposits up to age 69 and the full benefit is available regardless of age if deposit was made prior to age 55 and kept here. There are reduced benefits for deposits made (and kept here) between the age of 55 and 69. Just ask a member of your credit union's management for a full explanation of these terrific benefits.
